IONITY is the joint venture of BMW Group, Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company and the Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche. We are here to build a network of reliable and powerful charging stations along major routes across Europe. These stations are comfortable to use and they allow fast charging times due to their capacity of up to 350 kW. As a result, IONITY makes long-distance travel with electric vehicles an enjoyable experience.
The IONITY Design Concept
How will we charge electric vehicles today and in the near future? We went back to the drawing board and utilizing IONITY’s own corporate identity we were able to come up with our unique design language. The result is a design concept that is able to communicate the IONITY brand experience without missing a beat, that is immediately recognizable on major routes and which stands for a both welcoming and intuitive user experience.
TThe IONITY headquarters are located in Munich, Germany. By 2020, we will implement and operate about 400 fast charging stations in 24 European countries to begin with. We manage to secure attractive locations through strategic partnerships.
