Your mission

To strengthen our Infrastructure team, we’re looking for a talented and driven Architectural Site Design Manager who will play a pivotal role in the rollout of our ultra-fast charging stations across Europe.
 
What You’ll Do
As an Architectural Site Design Manager, you will lead the concept design and permitting phases of our infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning to pre-construction:
  • Design the Future: Develop site concept layouts for EV charging stations, aligning with ground investigation surveys, land boundaries, and urban planning constraints.
  • Drive Permitting Success: Ensure timely submission and approval of planning permit applications in collaboration with local authorities and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Excellence: Manage external design consultants and subcontractors, guiding the development of concept plans and detailed civil/electrical engineering drawings.
  • Ensure Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end design process for multiple projects, delivering on time, on budget, and in line with IONITY’s quality standards.
  • Report & Collaborate: Provide clear, concise project status reports to senior management, and work cross-functionally with deployment and construction teams.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with creativity and a strong drive to get things done:
  • Degree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent in the construction industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or building projects, ideally with on-site experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and preferably 3D rendering tools.
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering, land title boundaries, and ground conditions.
  • Familiar with relevant local regulations and permitting procedures (e.g. CDM).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with public authorities and private property owners.
  • Fluent in French (including technical vocabulary).
  • Good English skills (B2)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about sustainable mobility.
  • Valid, clean driver’s license.
