Your mission
This newly created role will be responsible for the commercial and operational property management of IONITYâs portfolio of EV charging hub sites across the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will take ownership of lease management, landlord engagement, site performance monitoring, and capital works oversight to ensure our network delivers maximum value and customer experience.- Establish and maintain a robust property management system to track all key lease events (rent reviews, expiries, break clauses, renewals, etc.).
- Act as the principal point of contact for landlords and managing agents regarding site matters, service charge reconciliations, and compliance.
- Negotiate and manage lease variations, renewals, and other property-related agreements in line with business strategy.
- Monitor site-level financial and operational performance, recommending improvements, upgrades, or rationalisation where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for marketing initiatives or site enhancements to improve utilisation and customer experience.
- Provide regular reporting on portfolio performance and key asset metrics to management.
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure timely delivery of maintenance, repairs, and ad-hoc interventions.
- Work with Landlord partners and/or internal facilities management team to ensure sites are well-presented and accessible, e.g. landscaping, waste management, health & safety compliance, winter-ready precautions.
- Assist the coordination of larger refurbishment, upgrade, or capex projects, managing external consultants and contractors as required.
- Ensure all works are delivered to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Partner with Operations and Network Development teams to ensure seamless integration between property management and broader business objectives.
- Support business development initiatives by providing insights on property performance and market trends.
Your profile
- Experience in commercial property / asset management.
- Strong understanding of lease structures, landlord/tenant law, and property management best practice.
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites across a region and prioritise effectively.
- Experience with service charges, lease event tracking, and landlord negotiations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Exposure to retail, roadside, infrastructure, or service-station-type assets is a bonus.
- Familiarity with capex project planning and delivery.
- Interest in e-mobility, sustainability, and the energy transition.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player, able to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Commercially astute, with a passion for driving value through property management.
