IONITY Sorgues offers the highest combined charging capacity of any location on this list, with 12 charging points offering up to 600 kW.
It was almost as popular as the winner of our 2025 Hot List, falling short by only a few drivers each day.

#4 Greve, Denmark
Perfectly positioned for coolcations and Northern European road trips, IONITY Greve was our most popular Danish location of summer 2026.
Drivers spent less time charging here than at any other location on the list, with an average session length of 24 minutes.

#3 Quickborn, Germany
Our third most popular charging stop of summer 2026, IONITY Quickborn was a favourite for drivers topping up in Northern Germany.
Drivers spent 28 minutes on average charging here, before setting off again along the autobahn.

#2 Mâcon Saint-Albain, France
IONITY Mâcon Saint-Albain was one of the alternatives suggested in our 2025 Hot List, and it was more popular than any other French location in summer 2026.
While IONITY Sorgues offers more combined charging capacity, Mâcon Saint-Albain’s location near Lyon makes it a well-placed stop for drivers travelling from Switzerland and Germany.

#1 Affi, Italy
Our most popular charging stop of summer 2026, IONITY Affi helped drivers continue their journeys through northern Italy and beyond.
And it may become even more popular soon as we’re adding more chargers to this location before the end of 2026.
With an average of 202 drivers charging here each day over summer, Affi welcomed around 50% more daily drivers than the winner of the 2025 Hot List.
