Your mission

The IONITY Operations team is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer to provide diagnostic and technical support during the servicing of our High Power Charging (HPC) stations. You will travel to our HPC sites within a defined region to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at existing stations. Experience with and confidence in handling such systems is essential. 
The home office base for this role is located in the Northern or North-Central part of Italy. 

Your Responsibilities

  • OrderingandhandlingofsparepartsforourHPCstations
  • Debugsystemsandperformremotediagnosticsonfieldfailuresbyreviewingloggeddata
  • Support indevelopingprocesses,documentation, anddiagnosticknowledgeforstandardserviceactions
  • Recognizetrendsandpatternsinfieldfailuresandprovidefeedback tothecentralteam to driveimprovements
  • Workcloselywithengineeringandoperationsteamstoensurenewissuesarethoroughlyinvestigatedandthatcorrectivemeasuresareimplemented
  • Travelinternationallywhenrequired,includingforinternalworkshopsandcross-borderrepairmissions


Your profile

  • Certifiedprofessionalelectrician;additionalEnvironmental,Health, andSafetycertificationsare a plus
  • Switchingpermitformediumvoltagedevices/transformersbeneficial, notmandatory
  • Approximately2–3yearsofexperienceas afieldservicetechnician,ideallywithsimilartechnicalequipment
  • Willingnesstotravelregularly–sometimesonshortnoticeandforextendedperiods–withaproactiveandsolutions-orientedmindset
  • Availabilityforoff-hourscallsandassignments
  • TechnicaldegreeinElectricalEngineeringorequivalent
  • Strongcommunicationandcollaborationskillswithexternalserviceproviders
  • FluencyinFrenchandEnglish(writtenandspoken);additionalEuropeanlanguagesareanadvantage
  • Strongself-managementskillswithexcellentorganizationalanddocumentationabilities
  • Provenabilitytomanagemultipletasksandchallengessimultaneously
  • Proficiencyin standard office and database software (MS Office)
  • Abilitytoreadand interpretmechanicaldrawingsandelectricalschematics
