IONITY Monthly Subscriptions are valid in 23 European countries, there is no minimum contract period, and the subscription can be terminated at any time with a notice period of one month.

IONITY Annual Subscriptions are also valid in 23 European countries. Each subscription ends automatically at the end of the contract term after 12 months and is not renewed automatically. If you want to continue using the annual subscription after the 12-month term, you need to actively sign up for a new subscription.

While the monthly base fee and annual one-time fee for our subscriptions remain the same, charging prices may vary by country when you're traveling. You can find the charging prices per kWh for each country further up on this page by switching between countries using the drop-down menu.

You can upgrade to IONITY Power anytime within the IONITY App. Just go to the associated section and select your desired new subscription plan. You will receive an order confirmation in the IONITY App and at the email address registered in your user account. The upgrade will be implemented immediately and displayed in the IONITY App. You can also downgrade from IONITY Power to IONITY Motion within the app, which will be reflected in the IONITY App, but will only take effect from the next billing date.

IONITY Motion and IONITY Power are monthly subscription plans with reduced kWh prices and a flexible monthly contract that can be cancelled at any time. IONITY Motion 365 and Power 365 are annual subscription plans that offer the same kWh prices as the corresponding monthly plan (Motion or Power) but run for 12 months with the subscription charged as a one-time upfront fee. Each plan ends automatically after the 12-month term without renewal.

Yes, you can switch from a monthly subscription to IONITY Motion 365 or Power 365 at any time. The change takes effect immediately after you confirm and pay for your annual subscription. Please note that switching from an annual to a monthly subscription is not possible until the end of the 12-month term.

Yes, you can upgrade to IONITY Power 365 from Motion 365 at any time. When you do, the fixed term of your new annual subscription will begin on the date you make the switch, and we will offset the difference in subscription costs on a pro rata basis.

You can cancel your subscription in the IONITY App at any time. After cancelling your subscription, it will stay active until your next billing date, which you can see in your account. Your billing date is the date your annual subscription ends or the date you are invoiced monthly for your monthly subscription.

The monthly subscription fee will be collected and invoiced monthly, starting with the day you subscribed and then every month the same date, your billing date. For example, if you subscribe on 02.06.2024, you will be charged and invoiced on the same day. The next month you will be charged and invoiced on the 02.07.2024.

The one-time annual subscription fee will be collected and invoiced at the beginning of your subscription and will apply for 12 months of subscription costs. For example, if you subscribe on 02.06.2024, you will be charged and invoiced on the same day, and your annual subscription will remain active until 02.06.2025.

Yes, you can charge your EV without having an IONITY subscription. However, the savings you make as an IONITY Motion customer often pay off after just one charging session (with an average charging session of 30 kWh).
